		Genesis Stone (stromatolite stone) is the most extraordinary stone that we have, and possibly the most extraordinary stone ever discovered. The reason this stone is so fantastic is because it contains fossilized, the first organisms on Earth which created the very first oxygen on Earth. The organisms are called Stromatolites, they are actually a version of algae of what can be found in ponds and lakes. We call it Genesis Stone because of the organism contained within was one of the Earth's first life forms. Stromatolites are tube shaped and can be up to an inch in diameter and the formation can be up to twenty four inches long, the sample pictured is a top view.
